Mosins used to be under $100.

2020-02-10 04:25:15 UTC

why?

2020-02-10 04:25:23 UTC

Mosins are still cheap but the ammo is getting expensive

2020-02-10 04:25:46 UTC

Yea, they use a rlly weird caliber but there are places nearby u can get them for cheap from

2020-02-10 04:25:58 UTC

7.62x54R

2020-02-10 04:26:00 UTC

At least where I’m from

2020-02-10 04:26:12 UTC

Most AKs cycle 7.62x39

2020-02-10 04:26:19 UTC

Find a pawn shop in the sticks if you want a mosin for like $150-250 still. They aren't pretty but they'll shoot if you can boil the fucking musk off of them

2020-02-10 04:26:23 UTC

54R isn't made a whole lot anymore

2020-02-10 04:26:27 UTC

Also 5.45 AKs are based

2020-02-10 04:26:32 UTC

>5.45

2020-02-10 04:26:33 UTC

fugg

2020-02-10 04:26:38 UTC

I was thinking like a garand

2020-02-10 04:26:42 UTC

or a m1

2020-02-10 04:26:46 UTC

Lol I only rlly know western calibers like your standard .308, .32, .45, 5.56, etc

2020-02-10 04:26:51 UTC

Weren't those .303?

2020-02-10 04:27:06 UTC

I've memorized a lot of calibers

2020-02-10 04:27:25 UTC

If you're /noguns/ then just either settle for whatever milsurp you can get (bolt action if cheap, SKS or other semi if sub-700), or just get an AR15 or WASR AK

2020-02-10 04:27:32 UTC

Yeah pretty much

2020-02-10 04:27:36 UTC

WASR AKs are nice

2020-02-10 04:27:52 UTC

I have a WASR 10

2020-02-10 04:28:10 UTC

My bro has an ak thats been tricked out, he’s got a nice ol boot stick

2020-02-10 04:28:16 UTC

I'm a poor as fuck student so I just deal with the cards I'm dealt and love my yugo k98k with all my heart

2020-02-10 04:28:36 UTC

My dad collected a lot of guns and I got lucky and made off with a folding stock AK

2020-02-10 04:28:41 UTC

shit is nice

2020-02-10 04:28:48 UTC

I got 10k in the bank

2020-02-10 04:28:57 UTC

I wanted a nice wooden furnished gun

2020-02-10 04:29:03 UTC

Cleaned the musk off of it, got a leather sling and some ammo cells, learned how to field strip and clean, got some good ammo and clips to boot.

2020-02-10 04:29:06 UTC

He had one that folded but he sold it for a 12 gauge and some extra money

2020-02-10 04:29:16 UTC

That's fair

2020-02-10 04:29:35 UTC

Yea, especially considering he had another one at the same time

2020-02-10 04:29:38 UTC

yeah

2020-02-10 04:29:41 UTC

But if you're noguns, the best advice I can give you is, apart from a .22, buy **something** and practice with it. It's better than nothing.

2020-02-10 04:29:46 UTC

^

2020-02-10 04:29:58 UTC

Even if the gun "isn't good" what matters is if *you're* good with it

2020-02-10 04:31:11 UTC

Ofc, you can give anyone a 100 round mag fore gripped bump stock assault rifle and if they can’t shoot, then someone with a lil .22 but knows how to shoot would wreck their shit

2020-02-10 04:31:41 UTC

Buy the rifle, field strip and clean it, practice that a good few times and re-practice every few weeks for a while. Buy ammo, have a range day, learn to zero it in, learn its kinks, learn the **safety mechanisms**. Clean it again. Treat it like a tool.

2020-02-10 04:32:04 UTC

Sorry if I'm preachy right now I'm putting off reading

2020-02-10 04:32:26 UTC

Lol every igloo boi I’ve met says they’re tools

2020-02-10 04:32:46 UTC

They rlly are tho, you can’t use them without handling them

2020-02-10 04:33:26 UTC

the Gewehr 98 Mauser looks like it weights less than a M1 garand
