Mosins used to be under $100.
why?
Mosins are still cheap but the ammo is getting expensive
Yea, they use a rlly weird caliber but there are places nearby u can get them for cheap from
7.62x54R
At least where I’m from
Most AKs cycle 7.62x39
Find a pawn shop in the sticks if you want a mosin for like $150-250 still. They aren't pretty but they'll shoot if you can boil the fucking musk off of them
54R isn't made a whole lot anymore
Also 5.45 AKs are based
>5.45
fugg
I was thinking like a garand
or a m1
Lol I only rlly know western calibers like your standard .308, .32, .45, 5.56, etc
Weren't those .303?
I've memorized a lot of calibers
If you're /noguns/ then just either settle for whatever milsurp you can get (bolt action if cheap, SKS or other semi if sub-700), or just get an AR15 or WASR AK
Yeah pretty much
WASR AKs are nice
My bro has an ak thats been tricked out, he’s got a nice ol boot stick
I'm a poor as fuck student so I just deal with the cards I'm dealt and love my yugo k98k with all my heart
My dad collected a lot of guns and I got lucky and made off with a folding stock AK
shit is nice
I got 10k in the bank
I wanted a nice wooden furnished gun
Cleaned the musk off of it, got a leather sling and some ammo cells, learned how to field strip and clean, got some good ammo and clips to boot.
He had one that folded but he sold it for a 12 gauge and some extra money
That's fair
Yea, especially considering he had another one at the same time
yeah
But if you're noguns, the best advice I can give you is, apart from a .22, buy **something** and practice with it. It's better than nothing.
^
Even if the gun "isn't good" what matters is if *you're* good with it
Ofc, you can give anyone a 100 round mag fore gripped bump stock assault rifle and if they can’t shoot, then someone with a lil .22 but knows how to shoot would wreck their shit
Buy the rifle, field strip and clean it, practice that a good few times and re-practice every few weeks for a while. Buy ammo, have a range day, learn to zero it in, learn its kinks, learn the **safety mechanisms**. Clean it again. Treat it like a tool.
Sorry if I'm preachy right now I'm putting off reading
Lol every igloo boi I’ve met says they’re tools
They rlly are tho, you can’t use them without handling them
the Gewehr 98 Mauser looks like it weights less than a M1 garand
