And did you "shit" on his religion?
Or you just criticized it?
@➪ᵘˢᵉˡᵉˢˢt͜͡r͜͡a͜͡s͜͡h͜͡ꨄ
I’m not shitting on your beliefs I’m challenging them
I asked him a question
What was it?
I asked if God is all powerful why is it that in the bible he doesn’t know light is good until he creates it
Shush, I don't wanna scroll up.
I want to insert myself into the conversation instead.
200 iq
Since god claims to be omniscient yet he didn’t know if light was good until it came into existence
Ah, yes. I see.
@The 7 Fold Way I think you providing a bible quote would help for context
And don't you fucking say that you work in mysterious ways, or I will end you, lad.
Sure give me two seconds
@Vlad well some things I do are beyond your average human’s comprehension
Is my color fixed?
Nice.
Indeed, they are.
Thanks, Obama.
Nice
Genesis 1:3: And God said “let there be light” and there was light
Genesis 1:4: God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness
Right.
So, how does this imply that God didn't know that light was good before he created it?
Because after he created light that’s when he sees light was good
He didn't
He sees that it is good for its creation, not that it is good in general.
Doesn’t mean I didn’t know it before hand
Why is that not a possible interpretation?
Precisely.
Because then that would say that goodness is external to god, that virtue exists in some standard out of god
How so?
Which then undermines the premise of all abrahamic religions
Because the first interpretation which is mine says that God arbitrarily decided that it was good
The second interpretation which is yours is claiming that God already knew what good was
@The 7 Fold Way are you done yet?
Wait, hold on.
This is a religion discussion channel.
