@ASIAN ABLAZIKEN WOMANI said science wasn't responcible
i
Since gender is a social construct.
legit does this matter?
Can you guys stop for a sec
yeah but like what do you mean by that i just didn't understand (maybe i had to backtrack more LOL)
Got to do something
I come back
Sorry
I also didn't say being gay was social @xxxVoyageSpaceManxxx
I said gender is social, being gay is about 20% genetic.
i’ve never heard that
huh
Yes.
so
About 60-80% environmental
But there are still genetic components, and many more to be discovered possibly.
@ASIAN ABLAZIKEN WOMAN Since it is a social construct, it is not outlet scientific.
certain genders can have genetic influence yes but i won't quote percentages or numbers because every time a study comes up saying a different thing so it's complicated. But the majority of it is psychoogical/enviromental yes.
And I myself do not belive reality is a fact.
@ASIAN ABLAZIKEN WOMAN This is the most recent study done about "gayness" for lack of better words.
I lost the study but I could find it again
my question is??
I could also attempt to convince you that your reality is not a fact, as you've stated before, but then I would need to know your epistomologligical beleifs
who cares lmao
like
and how so (?) you mean as in reality depends on perception as well or (?)
@honeyblush People who are agaisnt the idea of more omthan one gender are the ones who care.
and i mean i'm just curious really
all that matters is we can agree it’s non-harmful and people deserve rights
like
@ASIAN ABLAZIKEN WOMAN I belive It's a possiblity we live in a simulation, therefore we cannot know anything for sure..leading to uncertainty, there is no uncertainty Ina fact.
You yourself cannot prove to me we do not live in a simulation.
@honeyblush People belive its harmful.
And they choose to push their beliefs on other people.
Which is the real harmful thing, but they don't realize that
then you need stats proving it’s non-harmful
@honeyblush it's not harmful for the most part but it gets wild when privileges (which are subjective anyway) are misunderstood as rights or when first-guesses are misunderstood (say i don't know this person and i misgender them and the person gets angry just because of that even if i had no idea, etc)
People bring up the fact that physically abused children tend to be gay
Which leads to the assumption that these people are neurologically injured.
