so if they are right, then they are the ones with the chance at heaven, and if they are wrong, then they will be punished
Everyone has a chance at heaven
According to the Catholic Church
sure, a chance
but their chances dwindle with every moment they walk the earth
at the end of the day, nobody can really know for sure which side is right or if any of the sides are right
that's why i prefer to not choose either side
with a nation, might makes right ultimately
so if your nation survives, it's what's right, there is nothing to dispute that
if you die along with your nation, you at least died fighting for something meaningful
maybe God could respect that
if he is around
@Pelth moral relativism, I see....
@Lord of the Nazgûl Yeah and God determines that all jews go to hell
Did he tell you that?
"It firmly believes, professes, and teaches that the matter pertaining to the law of the Old Testament, of the Mosaic law, which are divided into ceremonies, sacred rites, sacrifices, and sacraments, because they were established to signify something in the future, although they were suited to the divine worship at that time, after our Lord’s coming had been signified by them, ceased, and the sacraments of the New Testament began; and that whoever, even after the passion, placed hope in these matters of the law and submitted himself to them as necessary for salvation, as if faith in Christ could not save without them, sinned mortally. Yet it does not deny that after the passion of Christ up to the promulgation of the Gospel they could have been observed until they were believed to be in no way necessary for salvation; but after the promulgation of the Gospel it asserts that they cannot be observed without the loss of eternal salvation. All, therefore, who after that time observe circumcision and the Sabbath and the other requirements of the law, it declares alien to the Christian faith and not in the least fit to participate in eternal salvation, unless someday they recover from these errors. Therefore, it commands all who glory in the name of Christian, at whatever time, before or after baptism, to cease entirely from circumcision, since, whether or not one places hope in it, it cannot be observed at all without the loss of eternal salvation." Council of Florence
muh old sacraments are valid
muh jews achieving salvation
*unless someday they recover from these errors*
@Pelth You could say might makes right and that since God has all the might he makes all the right
@Lord of the Nazgûl Sure they can recover from it
and if your nation is successful, you have God on your side
and you're doing the right thing
So all Jews don’t go to hell
They wouldn't be jews if they died not as jews
All Jews who reject Jesus up to judgement go to hell
wait
so you agree
with my point
Well maybe
Anyone who rejects Jesus totally goes to hell
You can’t reject God and go to heaven
@Pelth Nationalism is virtuous
but not enough for salvation on its own merit
i don't care that much what happens to me after
I only care about what I accomplish here on earth
@Pelth Nazi Germany and the USSR were successful for a time. But they were not right.
> I only care about what I accomplish here on earth
@Pelth
And there is your mistake
