I read a book, Chernobyl, that says differently
its tough to argue with the CIA
who hated the USSR at the time
that book you read most likely didnt have any facts
yes lenin stands with the people
@classy It was the source material to the show Chernobyl so I highly doubt that
i mean i'd need to see a source
that CIA doc should be enough proof
These are your characters in this fight btw

im not reading a book for this short debate

@classy I don't have the book on me at this time, but you see, there's still conceration camps and hundreds of thousands of untold deaths in China and North Korea. The Soviet Union wasn't kind to people who disagreed with people questioning there beliefs and sent hundreds of thousands to their deaths in gulags (and gruelling mine work which was arguably worse than gassing them). They (Lenin, more or less) killed workers too when they went on strike. Whilst yes, he did moderize Russia (i can understand that) and had good intentions with the workers, he was no hero because he simply replaced one authoratian goverment with another. Communism is a failure.
communism is stateless so there is no way it can be "authoratiarian". the people in the gulags got paid for their labor so <a:neonblobshrug:449582950997164033>
How about the doldrums
Lol
doldrums
?
Lmao
never heard of that srry
@classy Is that why they died without any food? Because they were paid into doing manual labor?
