Current ish gear.
rifle is kinda cute
I put a FDE Vltor stock on it now.
Plan it to get a Slickster.
Small woman toes
@ratchetcranberri/RealBurgerHours LWRC stock is cuter than a VLTOR
Beshtiya and Azov...
It doesnt make sense on a full length rifle though.
It looks nice though
The LOP on the shortest setting is a bit small for me as well.
It is aesthetic Ill give you that.
Thanks @IvansFieryGrads

Okay /k/ids listen up.
After you have spent $10k on different builds, optics, and accessories. Then use this shit as a Merc in Iraq, dozens of firefights, thousand hours of patrols, you will come to a pretty clear understanding of what works.
Most engagements are at about 10-50m, some can reach out to 600m, some can be an elbow away. If you are doing any kind of movement, weight and bulk matter more than anything. Vertical grips, flashlights, heavy handguards, massive LVPO and magnifiers, bipods, silencers, offset backups, large magazines, double magazines, and general legoshit will piss you off more than anything on this goddamn earth. Nothing is worse than finding out all this bullshit is not only a waste of money, but will get you killed.
Get the lightest, smallest hand-guard you can find. Get a 4x ACOG, RMR if you plan on Night Ops. Use a standard light collapsed stock. Don't use buy a damn silencer, dont buy a vertical grip or anything else. Get a normal 2-point sling. Your weapon will not weight you down, will not snag on shit. It should not not bounce off your vehicle door or alleyway corners. It will be there and work. Train to fire your weapon in the strangest ways, Offhand, one hand, through keyholes, off trees, off unstable rock, wet weather, sandstorms. If able, go hiking for 14 hours with your weapon and get used to it.
Keep it simple and train train train. Do this and you will survive what's coming.

@CTL You know what that means?
