In theory, I see no problem with a stable gay couple adopting a child. The problem with that is that when you look at statistics, lesbians especially seem to have some serious problems with domestic violence and other issues. There's also the importance of having a male and female presence in the family home. Not to say that gay couples are automatically inferior parents, but the traditional family unit is statistically more likely to produce quality people. And that's really the whole goal of child-rearing, to raise an excellent person and prepare them for the world. I think for that reason, religious adoption agencies absolutely should have the right to deny gay couples in favor of traditional families. But I don't think gays should be denied across the board.

But the statistics are worrisome in that regard

My worry there is that much like the current trend of affirmative action in pretty much all media, the blackwashing of traditionally white characters, etc... you could very well get a situation where an adoption agency specifically looks for gay couples to acquiesce the LGBT community, lest they be labeled bigots

So otherwise serious red flags go unnoticed or ignored

And that kid goes to a gay couple that has serious issues

Again, not saying that's always the case, or even that it's likely

But it's certainly a concern when the LGBT/woke community continues it's current trend of brigading any business that doesn't have a certain percentage of minorities, females, or gays

You see that fairly often in the work force these days

Companies hiring minorities to fill a quota specifically because of the color of someone's skin

So you have cases where a qualified white male will get passed over in favor of an underqualified woman of color

Personally, I'm a big fan of meritocracies

If the surgeon doing surgery on me to remove a cancerous tumor, I want the person who was best qualified for the job

I don't give a flying fuck what color or gender they are, or who they fuck when they go home

I want to not die on the operating table

But now, the white male doctor who's top of his class has a very real chance of not getting hired at my local hospital in favor of that hospital trying to meet a diversity quota

The whole point of not judging a person by the color of their skin is exactly that

And I still stand by that. I judge people by the content of their character

The left stopped doing that, which is why I'm not a lefty anymore

Oh, and the sheer hypocrisy of the left claiming to love everyone and all that bullshit. They kind of undercut their entire message when they say every possible hateful thing about white males, or whites in general. I see far more hate from the left than I do from the right.

And if you don't believe me, try disagreeing with a lefty and see how fast they turn on you.

It was kind of amusing watching the redpilling of Laci Green, who was one of the most famous lefty feminists around. Then she realized some of the same things I just touched on, and her fanbase turned on her so fast she had to pretty much hide for a while.

I hear more people complaining about people complaining about white people than I actually hear the left complaining about white males. Can't we just preach our own message instead of just using this platform to gripe against the left all the time?

There's also that you can see some other ultra-woke, anti-white, self-flagellating policy set forth by some business or educational institution or other damn near every day. It's hard NOT to think about it or wonder where it ends.

It's regressive behavior at its worst. Not only is it anti white, it's in its own blind way racist against the very people the stupid shit is intended to benefit, carrying the not so subtle connotation that we apparently AREN'T equal, to go by their reasoning.

So I'm fine letting some of it sit around rent free.
