Why can a subsaharan African attempt and fail to put an Ikea chair together for 5 hours

every modern thing we take for granted is a result of extremely intelligent people who worked hard to build it

And I can do it in 3 minutes

the roof over your head

the heating and air conditioning that allows you to be comfortable underneath it

the food that stays cold and fresh in your refrigerator

Furthermore high iq people have higher deferral of gratification

Which is functional work ethic

the computer and internet you're using right now to communicate

the freedom of information you now have at your fingertips

all of these things make your quality of life soooo much higher than it would be otherwise

and it's all a result of intelligence

Africans work fairly hard but they have meagre intelligence and deferral of gratification

By 1850 they had not even invented the wheel
