2020-03-19 01:56:20 UTC

Every study shows usa has worst outcomes per capita

2020-03-19 01:56:31 UTC

I pay $0 for my insurance a month

2020-03-19 01:56:38 UTC

Maybe a copay here and there

2020-03-19 01:56:43 UTC

2020-03-19 01:57:25 UTC

No reason for me to pay more so Timmy can get his legal weed for his anxiety

2020-03-19 01:57:29 UTC

Every other country on earth can afford socialised healthcare and usa is the richest country

2020-03-19 01:57:36 UTC

2020-03-19 01:59:32 UTC

If we stopped funding these countries we could probably afford it

2020-03-19 01:59:42 UTC

I said it wrong

2020-03-19 02:00:17 UTC

If we stopped funding NATO, stopped being world police and just kept our military for ourself probably.

2020-03-19 02:00:55 UTC

But then I'd like to see welfare gone, any government rent assistance, child support payments etc.

2020-03-19 02:00:57 UTC

Am i reading the chart wrong or

2020-03-19 02:01:05 UTC

That just shows military spending

2020-03-19 02:01:21 UTC

What are you talking about

2020-03-19 02:01:43 UTC

It shows how much money we could spend on something good instead of the military actually

2020-03-19 02:02:15 UTC

Yeah re reading it all it is is military spending nothing to do with nato itself, its just how much each country spends on their own army

2020-03-19 02:04:03 UTC

That chart has nothing to do with a single thing youre saying

2020-03-19 02:04:48 UTC

Yea I grabbed the wrong chart

2020-03-19 02:06:38 UTC

Preciously we funded 22% of NATO budget

2020-03-19 02:07:58 UTC

This is the new one

2020-03-19 02:08:25 UTC

Whats your problem with nato

2020-03-19 02:08:46 UTC

Its the main force stopping putins militaristic tendencies

2020-03-19 02:09:19 UTC

Well don't you want Healthcare for all?

2020-03-19 02:09:29 UTC

You can easily afford both

2020-03-19 02:09:47 UTC

Seeing as medicare for all is cheaper than the current system

2020-03-19 02:09:55 UTC

<:tuckerface:624684793371688970>

2020-03-19 02:25:22 UTC

Anyone else see this run on grocery stories lasting for a few more weeks?

2020-03-19 02:25:25 UTC

If you took a look at the USA's mandatory spending you would realize how much useless shit we have to allocate money to that removes money from other sectors. Most of the money is being spend on Medicare Medicaid and social security. That leaves only about 7% of the money left to spend on whatever else necessary (news flash, it's not that much money left over)

2020-03-19 02:26:13 UTC

Like I was talking about the Coronavirus today with a couple of coworkers and it seems like this shit's gonna be the new normal for a few weeks, or hell - till the end of summer, possibly

2020-03-19 02:26:14 UTC

So because the USA has increased its mandatory spending by the implementation of infinitely many social welfare programs, we cant spend money anywhere else. Not to mention were in a ridiculous amount of debt

2020-03-19 02:26:52 UTC

We can't afford both. If we tried we'd end up like Venezuela. are you ready to pay $1,000,000 for a cup of coffee?

2020-03-19 02:27:40 UTC

No point in arguing

2020-03-19 02:27:47 UTC

We can always print more money

2020-03-19 02:27:59 UTC

Of course cuz that's how money works.
