i like all the decentralized/uncensored efforts but i think the problem is that they focus too much on that and so the normies avoid it... if we were to ever really have a chance at making the internet great again, we would have to gain significantly more marketshare by creating something normies would be attracted to

I find it helps if I shift the terminology. Instead of "defending our borders" I'll talk about "preserving our homes."

that's a good point... it's all about appealing to their emotions

they don't base their views on logic... only how things make them feel

People are emotional creatures, so if our views appear emotionally aberrant they'll naturally reject them.

I find it's best to just find out their base principles and then tailor the conservative argument to those principles. It's truly rare that anyone truly holds "equity and inclusivity" or some shit as their moral foundation, so very doable!

I just present the relevant practical reasons, i am gentle but not manipulative, i phrase it as logical steps from base assumptions
