@attis minorities supporting Trump shouldn't be a placcard; we don't care about race.

2020-03-12 14:21:37 UTC

@SlapYoSelf they do it's called Medicaid

2020-03-12 14:21:59 UTC

From what I've heard it doesn't work very well then

2020-03-12 14:22:06 UTC

How come people can't get free testing then?

2020-03-12 14:22:25 UTC

@SlapYoSelf they can?

2020-03-12 14:22:27 UTC

our healthcare system is also pretty underfunded so thats likely an issue

2020-03-12 14:22:30 UTC

just SEND the pictures, i need to disprove my colleague, he is a stupid sjw tard

2020-03-12 14:22:50 UTC

What did your colleague say?

2020-03-12 14:22:51 UTC

@attis i can only offer statistics/data, sorry

2020-03-12 14:23:20 UTC

isnt that like 300 bucks

2020-03-12 14:23:22 UTC

that will do!

2020-03-12 14:23:44 UTC

Thanks for letting me know, you're right then @Kriar

What data do you need? @attis

2020-03-12 14:23:57 UTC

Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) covers a test to see if you have coronavirus (officially called 2019-novel coronavirus or COVID-19). This test is covered when your doctor or other health care provider orders it, if you got the test on or after February 4, 2020.

2020-03-12 14:24:05 UTC

i need data to bring fear to the average stupid neolibs

2020-03-12 14:24:12 UTC

Who's eligible for Medicaid though?

2020-03-12 14:24:33 UTC

whoever pays insurance

2020-03-12 14:24:54 UTC

which isnt really all that cheap but considering how it costs 40k $ for a leg surgery i'd rather pay it than not

2020-03-12 14:25:09 UTC

@Sp1Te google is your friend, look for GOVERNEMNT sources

2020-03-12 14:25:33 UTC

The fact that it costs $40,000 means there is something seriously wrong

2020-03-12 14:25:36 UTC

I'd pay 40K for leg amputation than wait 13 months here in canada and risk sepsis

2020-03-12 14:25:53 UTC

sepsis???? wtf?

2020-03-12 14:25:55 UTC

in Canada the average wait time for major surgery is 1 year. I live here, free health care is fucking horseshit

2020-03-12 14:26:12 UTC

Sepsis is a potentially life-threatening condition caused by the body's response to an infection. The body normally releases chemicals into the bloodstream to fight an infection. Sepsis occurs when the body's response to these chemicals is out of balance, triggering changes that can damage multiple organ systems.

2020-03-12 14:26:15 UTC

1 year holy fuck

2020-03-12 14:26:20 UTC

ure so right! win win win!

2020-03-12 14:26:22 UTC

Living in the uk, NHS has been entirely fine for me

2020-03-12 14:26:32 UTC

no i know what sepsis is but why would you get that from a surgery

2020-03-12 14:26:49 UTC

i once paid 10k for 20 stiches...so worth it.

2020-03-12 14:27:09 UTC

Or just be like the UK and pay Β£1000 pa

2020-03-12 14:27:17 UTC

I'm not kidding about that, I had a kidney disease and they waited 7 months until I was pissing blood and unable to walk before they even diagnosed me. yeah I'll pay to see someone immediately. Yes the price is high and it should be looked at, yes other countries should be paying FAR MORE for American health innovation

2020-03-12 14:27:25 UTC

How about we stop subsidizing fossil fuels and start funding our own health sector?

Once again, private institutions can handle healthcare itself. However, a fully functional government option for **insurance** for those who need it should be in existence

2020-03-12 14:27:59 UTC

@SlapYoSelf I agree no one should be subsidized, it stifles industry. NO private industry should get subsidies.

2020-03-12 14:28:34 UTC

Look at college, when the US started giving out student loans college admission prices went up because schools suddenly knew they would get guaranteed money from the governemnt;

2020-03-12 14:28:58 UTC

charge students a premium + the gov will guarantee even if they fail, so they can charge whatever they want.

2020-03-12 14:29:41 UTC

That said, health care COSTS MONEY to research, including ongoing research to current mediciations/etc; they use the profits to fund new research, that research costs a LOT of money. Other countries wait until the US losses patients on it then buys it for pennies on the dollar

2020-03-12 14:30:09 UTC

so other countries can fuck off and start paying their fair share in the innovation of the US medical fields. Maybe then it'll cost the same as in the UK. /rant over

2020-03-12 14:33:28 UTC

TL;DR

2020-03-12 14:33:38 UTC
