> College professors and celebrities were pushing gender theory before it was popular. Almost like they were forcing it upon the population, thrusting the theory into mainstream opinion 🤔
@christiam Isnt that with most theory, regardless of thought?

2020-03-23 06:59:39 UTC

no gender theory is devoid of thought

2020-03-23 06:59:42 UTC

I'm more interested in economics than gender BS

2020-03-23 06:59:56 UTC

I mean even conservatism originated in many universities of the old Americas

2020-03-23 07:00:21 UTC

Yes it is, but it's increasingly common for professors to push ridiculous theories which are clearly destructive, as demonstrated by statistics which I have already gone over.

2020-03-23 07:00:24 UTC

@provolone this is open general chat. you can probably have normal discussion about econ after veting

2020-03-23 07:00:33 UTC

Today you can educate yourself if you work hard at it and have a thirst for knowledge

2020-03-23 07:01:17 UTC

Plus, professors are not the arbiters of truth. They are not the gatekeepers of knowledge. Many hold unpopular and untrue opinions about politics, society and culture.

2020-03-23 07:01:47 UTC

professors really can be complete idiots

2020-03-23 07:02:18 UTC

I left school at 13, now I have a passive income living overseas

2020-03-23 07:02:18 UTC

Philosophy is not science, so just because a professor holds a view on the world does not mean it's scientifically correct.

2020-03-23 07:02:42 UTC

indoctrination is not education

2020-03-23 07:02:45 UTC

Julius Evola laid this out in his works, from what I've gathered. I'll find time to read them.

2020-03-23 07:03:11 UTC

Professors are constantly guilty of grandstanding

2020-03-23 07:03:40 UTC

lmfao neighbourhood just had a firealarm
Literally was the only one to speak english
Had to explain to the fireboys "Nah mate, Nah they were cooking that's all"
while a thai guy kept interjecting "IT'S CHICKEN!!!"
Louder and louder

2020-03-23 07:03:40 UTC

If professors dictated society, would it go badly or would everything be perfect? Well, everything would be tinted through a liberal lens, which is clearly not objectively true.

2020-03-23 07:03:57 UTC

Fuck, I met so many people I wish I didn't
I am 65% sure one of those fuckers were a weird sex cult couple
Bangs and a fucking CROP TOP?
Cult.
One Asian girl in a sports letterman jacket....like she's from the 1950s....I bet her boyfriend is a weird Nerd White Guy
Who is either a feminist or on this chat right now

2020-03-23 07:04:21 UTC

Professor is another name for "ETERNAL STUDENT"

2020-03-23 07:04:30 UTC

people who lack curiosity have no place in the educational system, but a degree is just another requirement today

2020-03-23 07:04:53 UTC

> Plus, professors are not the arbiters of truth. They are not the gatekeepers of knowledge. Many hold unpopular and untrue opinions about politics, society and culture.
@christiam A vocal minority of professors hold such ideologies and the majority of them are living in much the same way that everybody else is living too. Most are often the best way to introduce or at least spread specified knowledge of hard hard curriculum, such as petroleum engineering

2020-03-23 07:05:07 UTC

Neighborhood firealarm? Lolwut

2020-03-23 07:05:12 UTC

dude idk

2020-03-23 07:05:24 UTC

Engineering is not philosophical, it's purely scientific. So of course their implementation could be useful.

2020-03-23 07:05:58 UTC

Alright but we shouldn't be accounting the *opinions* of our educators, just the facts that they teach

2020-03-23 07:06:38 UTC

And it's not like every field is one of nobility or pureness

2020-03-23 07:06:45 UTC

Exactly, which is why we should discount any partially-philosophical idea that isn't based in fact, like gender theory.

2020-03-23 07:06:52 UTC

that's the problem with the so-called social sciences, they aren't science

2020-03-23 07:07:12 UTC

@SharksGrill btfo of Mixtape

2020-03-23 07:07:17 UTC

He didn't get a record deal

2020-03-23 07:07:25 UTC

So why aren't Muslims allowed when we are the best religion?

2020-03-23 07:07:27 UTC

There's a difference between scientifically established facts and scientific "facts" that change from week to week with no clear conclusion.

2020-03-23 07:07:48 UTC

there's the problem of induction

2020-03-23 07:07:58 UTC

"SCIENCE" is a TOOL of ATHEISM you CLOD

2020-03-23 07:08:14 UTC

Mixtape fuck off

2020-03-23 07:08:17 UTC

Ok so Democratic, Republican, Conservative, Liberal, and every political ideology under the sun shouldn't be taught

2020-03-23 07:08:31 UTC

human knowledge is treated as if we are at the zenith of understanding, yet we are perpetually at a false summit

2020-03-23 07:08:34 UTC

Of course, things should be thoroughly tested, but only things which have demonstrated consistent results should be held as facts.

2020-03-23 07:08:54 UTC

Science is anti-democratic.

2020-03-23 07:08:58 UTC

That wasn't a response to the party thing btw.

2020-03-23 07:09:00 UTC

Almost every popular ideology these days have shown consistent results

2020-03-23 07:09:22 UTC

rationalism is simply a pragmatic way to get up the street, one step at a time. But it doesn't mean we can access objective truth
