He's shilling for products I consider to be blatantly fraudulent.

2020-04-02 06:35:51 UTC

@Kako every single ingredient has studies done on them. only one was considered slightly useful for men. the rest were bunk.

2020-04-02 06:35:57 UTC

They're classified as "supplements" to where there is little to no regulation.

2020-04-02 06:36:38 UTC

There was a famous citing of some iron supplement ages ago, it's an example we use often in the field it may not even be true. Of an iron pill that didn't contain any iron.

2020-04-02 06:36:56 UTC

@Kako Well you make the assumption that things outside your expertise don't work. Here's a question for you, what do you think about turpentine cleanses?

2020-04-02 06:37:18 UTC

And also where can I find NZT

2020-04-02 06:39:15 UTC

I don't think that all herbal remedies/supplements are BS. But there's a lack of scientific basis behind them. A quick google on a turpentine cleanse, seems like it does help some people. But my intuition as a chemist leads me to think turpentine isn't good for human consumption.

I think my biggest concern right now across the board of a snake oil campaign, is marijuana.

2020-04-02 06:40:53 UTC

Marijuana or CBD?

2020-04-02 06:40:56 UTC

If it's researched and the results don't get muffled by pro-weed, which is the modern big tobacco... it's toxic and killing people's brains. There's already data to back this.

2020-04-02 06:41:20 UTC

CBD is okay, but there's too many people abusing the medical significance of it as an excuse to get high.

2020-04-02 06:41:38 UTC

What’s the medical terminology for marijuana making you sick after copious amounts of use after years, I read an article about it long again they came up with a name for it, people couldn’t eat, gastrointestinal issues, stuff like that

2020-04-02 06:41:39 UTC

I thought CBD doesn't get people high

2020-04-02 06:41:42 UTC

Sounds about right

2020-04-02 06:41:43 UTC

I'm perfectly fine with an FDA approved CBD pill, but there's no need anyone should have to smoke weed.

2020-04-02 06:42:01 UTC

But again, you're assuming the foundations you've built your understanding on are correct, what if things *don't* work like you've been educated to believe?

2020-04-02 06:42:16 UTC

I mean, age old argument i know, but you could say that about drinking alcohol

2020-04-02 06:42:24 UTC

The harm of marijuana literally gets deliberately silenced. The FDA and DEA are wise to keep it schedule 1, based on **the science**

2020-04-02 06:42:32 UTC

plenty of studies show the damage it does to the brain

2020-04-02 06:42:49 UTC

But liberals only care about science when it helps their argument. When it comes to weed that shit is thrown out the window in 5 seconds.

2020-04-02 06:43:04 UTC

^

2020-04-02 06:43:42 UTC

Modern marijuana is also substantially different than the stuff that was wild, it's been modified so much. Don't get me wrong, I hate the stuff. Never had a non-sober day in my life. But there's a lot of fake science™️ surrounding pharmaceuticals.

2020-04-02 06:43:50 UTC

same thing with gender. shoot me.

2020-04-02 06:43:52 UTC

Anyways, about CBD. I have a co-worker who has studied marijuana extensively (which there aren't many allowed to do so). He told me about people using CBD because **They do get high off of it, even where it's low in THC** There's many other cannabinoids besides CBD and THC.

2020-04-02 06:44:15 UTC

They're getting high off of these under researched related things.

2020-04-02 06:44:20 UTC

@Kako Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome

2020-04-02 06:44:25 UTC

My understanding is you can completely separate CBD from THC, it's just expensive.

2020-04-02 06:44:45 UTC

@Kako So, would you advocate for listing alcohol schedule 1 as well?

2020-04-02 06:44:47 UTC

Is what I read about awhile back, apparently it’s happening to a lot of people and not as rare as they say

2020-04-02 06:45:00 UTC

I would not ban alcohol. Prohibition did not work.

2020-04-02 06:45:18 UTC

Alcohol is just too easy to make. Banning it is a good idea on paper though.

2020-04-02 06:45:19 UTC

@Kako So why try to control citizens consumption on anything

2020-04-02 06:45:29 UTC

An interesting video, to challenge your views:

https://youtu.be/SwD6Vux_DNg

2020-04-02 06:45:35 UTC

i dont marijuana, but i have used cbd and it does provide a calming effect in bigger doses

2020-04-02 06:46:08 UTC

Here's another CBD argument though. Why CBD, when there are 5000000000 FDA approved drugs that achieve the same effect? and often better?

2020-04-02 06:46:21 UTC

@Kako Why not just allow citizens complete freedom when deciding what to put into their bodies? People don't need to be moderated. If they break a law while under the influence of something increase the severity of the punishment.

2020-04-02 06:46:28 UTC

Literally pro-weed movement convincing you this is needed when it's clearly not.

2020-04-02 06:46:46 UTC

They aren’t saying alcohol is good for you either

2020-04-02 06:47:02 UTC

No such thing as “medical alcohol”

2020-04-02 06:47:23 UTC

What's wrong with weed?

2020-04-02 06:47:33 UTC

Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome
