@Hugo During the border wars SA helped Rhodesia fight their Bush War against the communists coming from the north as it was seen as a defensive barrier for SA against the commies. Eventually SA agreed with the commies to stop helping the rhodesians on the condition they would not push their ideas further into SA. But commies do not play fair and will always push their agenda further even when they have agreed to stop previously and since Rhodesia falled they have just pushed into SA
