Well i don't like those laws but it's debatable whether or not it violated the constitution, some people think banning anything that has to do with a fire arm (attachments, mags) violates 2a, some people think only banning guns violates 2a, IMO banning bump stocks didn't violate 2A, cause i can still use my gun, it doesn't take that away from me.
The red flag laws are a scary thing, if used right, they can be helpful, but the scary part is that they choose who is a "threat" and who is not, this is also debatable on the idea of it being constitutional or not
