Probably the most progressive muslim nation out there.
Are casings and primers regulated?
So theres people smuggling stuff through thailand
Like I said, just ammo, having components ias also treated at attempted manufacturing, so thats death as well.
I haven't the faintest how to make a primer and casings are a pain to make from scratch
Takes years to get a license even if you get everything done perfectly. Well making gunpower would already alarm the secret police.
If it's just the gun you're after I can send you some blueprints no problem but I think the secret police might disapprove of you having those
Even then, nothing I can do, machining parts is also not easy.
So I figured easiest thing is to pay smugglers to carry one across the border.
Only part you'd have to do yourself is rifling
You can split the rest among multiple machine shops
Don't give any one enough of an order to make it obvious it's a gun
Or just make one from scratch, like a pipe, that also dosent solve the issue with ammo.
Well id love to own one, but with the penalties so steep its not worth it.
It will screw up the whole family. Too much to lose.
Well I cant just do that. People bailing is what keeps shitholes shitholes
Find the nearest US embassy, then go onto the street in front of it, proclaim yourself gay and/or atheist and run in
Dont get me wrong, I still love my country. Leaving wont fix it. And well, heres hoping that the stigma behind gun ownership here is gone but doing anything now will just get my family in trouble.
How are you guys ruled?
At least theoretically by an elected official of some type?
Its improving. Hence why I said I think its improving.
But the country has been so peaceful in terms of conflict that people see no need to protect themselves.
Yeah theres parties. And we elect representatives for each district.
Are they actually the ones with the power?
For example I vote on a district representative and the party that represents the state.
And then they end up electing people to handle each area.
Area of expertise I mean. So id say they do have power and are elected by votes
The guy in charge of finance now for example was picked by the party that won the entire electoral vote.
I mean, is it a "we're totally democratic guise" type of deal or actually one?
It looks like one so far. Its definately democratic now, opposition won for the first time since independence
Oh, it's actually improving then
Issue is, I feel like more time hasbeen spent on arresting the previous PM than ive seen on what the new party is doing. They are pretty qualified in my opinion, but they have alot of cleaning to do.
But I said crossroads. The party can end up becoming more like the eastern europeans, or the americans.
Eh, Eastern Europe these days isn't that bad
Unless you've got a direct border with Russia, that is
Well assuming it exists in a vaccum.
