you get rabbit pieces out the back
i just use ball on varmints
m855 and m193 would probably not start tumbling despite the hydrostatic shock because of the size of rabbits
no need wasting money on better ammo
and they aren't gonna expand unless the wabbits are big
the soft nose 223's aren't too expensive
I seem to remember winchester had hot stuff
i dont even own a .223 anymore
i got my .308 ar and 3 pistols
2 .40's and a .45
I like 40S&W
but I don't like reloading for it
too many combat/duty pistols have wide chambers at the back for feeding
theyre ok. still like my springfield xds better tho
and in hotter loads it starts expanding the base
yeah i dont reload my ammo
so if you want it back to spec you need to run it through a full body die
I handload everything now
i dont feel like going thru all that and buying the press and everything
338 lap, 458 socom, 300 blackout, 7.62x51, 5.56, 9x19, 40s&w, 45acp, 357mag
or Meijer
Only thing I don't handload is 7.62x39
im lazy lol
I like doing it
I get super nice 9x19
stuff way above anything I can buy off the shelf
and I can tune the loads to particular guns
It's especially useful in 40S&W
180gr's traveling at around 750 fps have the recoil impulse of a .22lr in my FNP40
it's kinda cool
Also I hate paying premiums for hyper ammo
Nosler makes these wonderful 124gr projectiles that have good super consistent expansion around 1100fps
To get `self defense` ammo that operates at the same speeds I'm pushing it to (I'm at 1150 w/ just below peak +p pressures using longshot); it'd cost me a buck a round
I prepare them for ~20c a pop
I shelled out 1k of them in 4 hours
200 bucks worth of raw mat and 4 hours of watching anime and operating a press
anime was a mistake
your mom was a mistake
