If you folks have wood stock hang the muzzle down

2018-11-18 21:00:04 UTC

That would be good yes

2018-11-18 21:00:10 UTC

One sec

2018-11-18 21:01:35 UTC

Oil seeps into the wood of the rear stock and damages it if hung muzzle up.

2018-11-18 21:02:51 UTC

Not a problem for me since all mine have syntetic stocks

2018-11-18 21:03:12 UTC

You are good!

2018-11-18 21:03:35 UTC

Im an ak owner. Its not like i do maintance

2018-11-18 21:04:04 UTC

Not sure what oil

2018-11-18 21:04:42 UTC

any gun oil will hurt wood over time really. If you are in US then CLP is most of what is sold and used.

2018-11-18 21:05:20 UTC

Im going to take that advicr

2018-11-18 21:05:30 UTC

Thank you

2018-11-18 21:06:06 UTC

It was in a gunsmithing class I did.

2018-11-18 21:06:31 UTC

Yeh. Nah i didnt do those

2018-11-18 21:07:07 UTC

I just kinda got the "dont put your finger on the trigger" and "treat it like it will go off at any moment. In your habds it probable would"

2018-11-18 21:07:39 UTC

Most new firearms these days have synthetic stocks so it is really only a problem for older firearms that need to be restored/fixed

"NO MAGS IN GUNS IN THE SETUP ROOM"

2018-11-18 21:07:59 UTC

I have Blue Mags

2018-11-18 21:08:12 UTC

oh those sound perty

2018-11-18 21:09:06 UTC

No, they are dedicated training magazines, only snap caps go in them.

2018-11-18 21:10:20 UTC

I tell people minimun 3 mags for any semiauto, range mag, ready mag, blue mag. Put the range mag in your range bag, the ready mag stays at home ready, and the blue mag is for practicing and storage

2018-11-18 21:14:49 UTC

2018-11-18 21:16:41 UTC
