You own it or someone else owns it, @Dess Dess DESS?

2018-12-01 18:22:17 UTC

@Miss Direction it's my friend's

2018-12-01 18:23:26 UTC

It fires fully automatically, or no?

2018-12-01 18:25:58 UTC

You usually have to pull the trigger to make them fire

2018-12-01 18:59:38 UTC

kek

2018-12-01 19:00:06 UTC

@Miss Direction if it's a civilian import after '68, semi only

2018-12-01 19:04:55 UTC

Thus, I asked, @propyne. ;P

2018-12-01 21:40:29 UTC

@DrWittMDPhD Compared to 5.56x45 Remington or M855 loads just a little bit more recoil, but then again my .300BLK is a bolt gun. As far as compaired 7.62x39 .300BLK is softer but only a little bit.

2018-12-01 21:43:39 UTC

Dang so .300BLK really is a good analogue for Russia's 7.62mm intermediate cartridge?

2018-12-01 21:48:52 UTC

@DrWittMDPhD no. It has worse 200 to 300m range accuracy and terminal ballistics. There is a smaller powder compartment so it doesn't zip as far as fast.

2018-12-01 21:50:13 UTC

@Miss Direction Very nice. Have fun with the cosmoline removal process lol you will never want to do it again

2018-12-01 21:51:29 UTC

Well super sonic .300BLK

2018-12-01 21:51:40 UTC

I remember you made that distinction when you first brought it up

2018-12-01 21:51:47 UTC

Yeah.

2018-12-01 21:52:14 UTC

Obv the sub sonic shit isn't going to match a super sonic intermediate cartridge

2018-12-01 21:53:04 UTC

Super Sonic .300BLK compaired to 7.62Soviet. 7.62x54 is Russian Imperial there were three 7.62 by 54 rimmed rounds back in the day, the Russian Imperial round is the only one still in use.

2018-12-01 21:55:21 UTC

Well yeah 7.62x54mmR is a full power cartridge

2018-12-01 21:55:34 UTC

I'm talking about 7.62x39mm

2018-12-01 21:57:52 UTC

7.62Soviet is a 350M Minute of man round, .300BLK Sup is a 250M Minute of Man round in my experiance.

2018-12-01 22:00:21 UTC

Hmm, from what I can see the only .300BLK that gets similar ballistics are people loading .300BLK really hot to be at like 110gr and 2,600 ft/s compared to 7.62x39mm that is at like 2,396 ft/s at 122 gr

2018-12-01 22:02:52 UTC

The main advantage of .300BLK is that is functions in 5.56x45 specific firearms with a min changes. If your org has 5.56x45 gear (NATO Mags and AR-15s) you can switch to .30cal compaired to all the trouble of the 7.62Sov

2018-12-01 22:03:36 UTC

That makes sense

2018-12-01 22:03:52 UTC

Also can't forget about the subsonic suppressed fun time

2018-12-01 22:05:38 UTC

That is the main selling point. Subs. It is supposed to be like a .357mag out of MP5 in something like the Sig Rattler "Pistol"

2018-12-01 22:06:40 UTC

But silenced!

2018-12-01 22:08:15 UTC

I will be back later.

2018-12-01 22:29:45 UTC

Any thoughts on the bump stock ban?

2018-12-01 22:54:11 UTC

@Miss Direction semi only

2018-12-01 22:55:27 UTC

@EndangeredProdigy its a pointless ban

2018-12-01 22:59:29 UTC

Disappointing. I guess it's a bone to throw the left, but I wanted Trump to remove the NFA

2018-12-01 23:01:53 UTC

Seems pointless to even throw that bone too

2018-12-01 23:12:07 UTC

Yeah I know. Is it even paired with something useful like wall funding?

2018-12-01 23:14:19 UTC

It's just reactionary orders for Las Vegas, even though that was the first time a bump stock has ever been used in a mass shooting. The punishment for not complying seems very stiff as well

2018-12-01 23:37:39 UTC

No, any erosion of our rights is not pointless.

2018-12-02 00:19:39 UTC

Obviously I didn't mean it in that sense

2018-12-02 00:20:26 UTC

A ban on bump stocks if pointless in how they are a non-item in public safety.

2018-12-02 00:21:41 UTC

You don't even need a bump stock to bump fire so yeah

For a while MAC had "Can It 80's hip bump fire?" as part of his review points on videos.
