She alright

IMO she's alright as a character, or would be in a vacuum, but she changed the dynamic too much in a bad way and has implications for the setting that I dislike. Too often the characters around her are made to act like idiots, act against their nature, or otherwise step out of line so that Starlight can get the opportunity to shine. Her episodes come at the expense of other more established and better rounded characters

I like cartoons, and MLP is easily the best one this decade, even if it has fallen on a bad run these last two seasons or so.

But that's really to be expected for a show running this long

And the anime I DO like are near universally "westernized", things like Panty and Stocking (with Garterbelt). While a bit hit or miss I consider it largely brilliant
