Okay in my country it’s like based on seats so: 50% of votes means 50% of seats

these seats are distributed around the country

and they select MP

minister of parliment

right now we have a minority government

And if a party gets like 30% of the votes they need to team up with other parties to form a majority

so the liberals have less than 50% of votes

but got the most votes

Our government is never controlled by 1 party

So I think thats a good thing
