Main problem with IPFS is that files hosted on it are unalterable. That means any law pertaining to content is effectively unenforceable. That might sound great if your goal is to defy the EU on Propositions 11 & 13, but it doesn't sound so great if you're trying to take down illegal porn.

with IPFS you can load a file from your neighbor beside you in theory, if many applications adopt.
it's sha256 hashing with a filesystem network kinda. just one hash per file
try to upload something u can load it from any ipfs gateway, even your own PC
