Oh yeah, that's another that definitely did, but Miura stated in an interview once that his aim with Berserk was to merge those two together. Also that he viewed Berserk as more of a girls' manga in function. That in his view in boys' manga logic governed the story while in girls' that emotions governed logic.
Also the recent Devilman adaptation on Netflix was pretty good. I was impressed that they followed the original as closely as they did.
But then I've liked most of what I've seen Yuasa direct.
Huh that is nice to hear
I should look into more of his stuff, I liked Ping Pong & the version of devilman he directed. Just out of curiosity & going back to Rose of Versailles, you said it was too childishly girly for you, can you expand on that?
Maybe it gets more interesting later on, but the start of it was following the princess that Oscar is tasked with protecting, and it felt like it existed for little else than to allow little girls to imagine living as a pretty princess.
Silly ‘Muricans
Don’t @ me
Oh yeah, I have not read the manga but I know that the first chunk of the show after the first few episodes follows the princess before switching to Oscar.
Nifty video, finally I can apreciate the true wholesome in intent of this:
normie was a banned word in one server i was in
were they all normies? 😏
normie is a term that only normies use
*Implying 4Chan is a bunch of Normies*
lel
usually normies don't even know they are normies, why would they even use the term?
To feel superior to other normies for being ever so slightly out of the norm
And yes I'm absolutely implying that 4chan is a bunch of normalfags
I'm somewhat of a Normie. I've never even met this hacker 4Chan
All of 4chan? Most of 4chan? Certain boards of 4chan? Normie is of course poorly defined, but what about boards like /d/, /trash/, /mlp/ I suppose... Is this what normies are up to on a regular basis? Or do you only count the normies boards like nu/b/ and /v/?
he doesn't know what he is saying
Don't take me too seriously here I was mostly joking. Obviously the boards differ from each other in userbase, but overall I'd say that the amount of normies has increased with the massive population boost 4chan has had in recent years.
if you call shut-ins normies, of course the word will never have a useful use to you
I know that /b/ and /pol/ exist but I only ever see them via memes
/b/ has been pretty irrelevent for quite a while I'd say
4chan having mass appeal is different than "everyone on 4chan are normies"
most normies lurk, they don't post
sounds like you are the type of person who would call "gamer" to everyone that plays games too
I don't even lurk
I've never been to 4chan dot com
I literally just said not to take me seriously
dot org, you mean
there may be different levels of normiedom
For sure
Goes to show what I know about 4chan lmao
