Why would it be a ripoff? When they sell a 1 cour (around 12 episode)anime instead of a 2 cour (around 24 episode) anime, they usually make it cheaper than a 2 cour anime. Also this isn't Aniplex which requires you to sell a quarter of your soul to get a volume of 3-5 episodes for a 24 episode anime.

Also is there a lesbian equivalent of the Bechdel test?
