why would they use Discord?

your server, your rules. Discord doesn't step in unless there's reports and the server is big

So why would an SJW who *likes* censorship and sees no problems with it use Discord instead of a platform that already does some censoring in their favor?

What's the selling point for an SJW, if not "it's a really good platform"?

discord was used for political interference in the 2016 election

because Discord let's you have your server and make your rules the law

it was used to organize protests, and payments for protestors

lots of places do that

but Discord does it better than Skype

however Discord tells you what the rules are. You are free to do whatever you want

I won't even argue skype, only kids and old people used it anyway

the only thing that was close to Discord was Slack

Skype isn't even a comparison

skype died, when it was bought by microsoft and decripted

Teamspeak is focused on voice chat
