what people don't realize about these websites is that both the science and the technology for ancestry determination are quite new

and there's lots of false positives and false correlations, especially at the consumer level

I forget the website but I remember ||JF Gariepy|| mentioned there's a place where you can upload your genome (which you can obtain from your 23&me results page) and see a better ancestry breakdown based on the more recent scientific literature and computer models

which can give you much more accurate and specific results than these consumer products made for youtube reaction videos
