Lmao that thumbnail

I don't trust John Mark, something's not right with him.

2020-02-08 15:33:46 UTC

What would that be?

2020-02-08 16:09:06 UTC

Eh, he is a bit of a salesman and he fedposts but maybe he is just a sperg, not a fed.

2020-02-08 16:09:10 UTC

Big agree @arg

2020-02-08 16:09:37 UTC

Arg's detecting the pied piper.

2020-02-08 16:11:16 UTC

He can be entertaining and interesting but not to be invested in. Kind of like Alex Jones. He's going to get the low IQs in trouble.

2020-02-08 16:37:25 UTC

His push for basing a rhetorical argument around "Reciprocation" is the best thing I've seen him do. It passes the Pathos, Logos, Ethos check. It's true and recognizable from everybody and it's a tactful enough argument for almost and setting. Acknowledging generosity while questioning a equitable relational exchange is not bad optics. @Skellington is into studying rhetoric, I wonder if he's had any time to consider 'Reciprocity'?

2020-02-08 17:38:35 UTC

No. and I don't really study rhetoric. It's just what I've learned from self reflecting on how I respond to arguments

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3GxwUR5tGQ @Argent7771 your most recent video reminds me of this

2020-02-09 22:05:35 UTC

Im really not fond of Vox Day but some of the points he makes seem solid

2020-02-09 22:11:31 UTC

I used to watch him quite often but he does seem really arrogant at times

2020-02-09 22:12:23 UTC

yeah he does

2020-02-09 22:14:35 UTC

He literally brags all the time about how smart he is and how high his iq is and stuff like that

2020-02-09 22:15:20 UTC

And he’ll just back it up with “well that’s a true statement coming from me” or something like that to dunk on any other intellectual he’s reviewing

2020-02-09 22:16:24 UTC

I don’t even know what his political leaning is

He seems fairly far right, but doesn’t seem to be that interested in ethnic nationalism

2020-02-09 22:17:22 UTC

he is an ethnic nationalist, though he only calls it nationalism because he deems ethnic nationalism a tautology

2020-02-09 22:17:42 UTC

Yeah

2020-02-09 22:17:46 UTC

which i consider "muh definition" autism

2020-02-09 22:18:43 UTC

His writings seem to be okay though

2020-02-09 22:18:51 UTC

And whoever he gets to narrate them is pretty good

2020-02-09 22:19:43 UTC

i just listened to his jordanetics audiobook, dont care to read his stuff or give him money in any way

2020-02-09 22:20:17 UTC

its on youtube, i linked the second half which i think is better than the first

2020-02-09 22:21:57 UTC

I’ve only listened to the preview of his Irrational Atheist novel

2020-02-10 08:09:44 UTC

Definition autism is important

2020-02-10 08:30:35 UTC

eh

2020-02-10 08:31:26 UTC

the meaning of nationalism has changed over time, now it mostly means civnat

2020-02-10 08:32:14 UTC

if you hang onto the old meaning you create unnecessary language barriers and misunderstandings

2020-02-10 08:34:02 UTC

words have no inherent meaning

2020-02-11 16:12:37 UTC

UNIPARTY!
