Ayn Rand was right about Architecture
“Without an architecture of our own we have no soul of our own civilization. Every great architect is - necessarily - a great poet. He must be a great original interpreter of his time, his day, his age. We are called to be architects of the future, not its victims"

Bell tower of the monastery in Tambov (Russia), built in 2007-2013. The former bell tower was demolished in 1927. Since the school was built on this site, the bell tower was built in a different place according to a new project

That's the future, when you listen to the greenz
MMM centipedes scorpions spiders snakes the tasty treat that can’t be beat.
tbh id want to try bugs
but you know, as a one time thing
went to a store in Orlando once that was all bug merch including snacks
it was pretty cool ngl, didnt buy the bug food at the time but did get a cool paper weight
I wanted to try them when I was a kid, but what I read about how they taste nowadays doesn't really impress me.
I would probably try casu marzu, if I got the chance.
This recent push for eating bugs is disgusting, however. One more assault on our gag reflex in order to "save the planet". Fucking death cults, they're everywhere.
today's featured picture on wikipedia
Duke Humfrey's Library in Oxford
among the oldest in england
Our Lady of perpetual construction
Was there and it's very impressive
Hope to see the day when it's finished
Honestly the inside is even better
yeah
I know a lot of the architecture tradfags say it's ugly
but I love the incorporation of modern art styles with timeless ideas of form and flow
it's a medieval gothic cathedral built in art nouveau
with a distinctly spanish flavor and more ornamentation than money could've ever bought back in the day
I love it
it's what modern architecture should be
using new technologies and art styles to recapture the old and continue tradition
There's a newish trend in architecture which I find interesting
Apparently because of environmentalism and whatnot some architects are rediscovering wood
Though some fuck it up by covering the outside with ugly facades
Without those it's so much better looking than most concrete/glass structure even if relatively simple in design
