None at the top of my hat, sorry. I usually just google them when I need them
The rate of catholic priests who abuse children is nowhere found to be higher than the rate for priests of other denominations or for school teachers

@Punished Elías how come colombia is the only latam country being bothered by communist guerillas? they were active even before chavez right?
Weren't there others and doesn't Farc operate in multiple countries
Well, there are numerous commie guerrillas
Or rathe the splinter movement of Farc
Because Farc became legalized or something as a party
And some get help from the Venezuelan government
And indeed, they were active before Chavez, though Chavez is from Venezuela, so I'm not sure why he's used here as reference
@Mr. Nessel FARC's full international extent is getting shelter and supplies from Venezuela
Just before the peace treaty thing the FARC's territory was reduced to the Colombia-Venezuela border because they'd get actual help from the Venezuelan government
I'm confused, don't most southern american countries have a history with communist guerillas?
Subcommandante Marcos, Sendera Luminoso, Comando Vermelho,... or you only mean the active ones?
indeed they do
thing is
colombia is the only ones that are still active
all other LATAM countries have crushed their insurgencies
@Punished Elías Im using chavez as reference since i belive the venezuelans are actively supporting them with weaponry and supplies. i was wondering who was supporting them before chavez.Venezuela was right wing dictatorship before chavez
bruh
Soviets and Cuba probably
farc received all manner of financial support from the soviets
yeah
the communist network in latin america has always been very strong and tightly knit
they just operate differently in each country because the legal and geographic situations vary pretty dramatically
though FARC in particular is largely self-funded through kidnappings and collaboration with the cocaine cartels
@vexmasina44 the Venezuelan government absolutely supports them
oh yeah that too
though that's relatively recent
2003-ish onward
and today they get their funding from cocaine
FARC is several decades old
the cartels all got shut down but cocaine is lucrative so the guerillas took up the business
