@Salvation_Crucifix It's not that unreasonable once you consider survivor bias and the fermi paradox

2020-02-18 20:32:11 UTC

TFW you try to steal from Argent but he did it first

2020-02-18 20:32:23 UTC

Life is likely very rare

2020-02-18 20:32:50 UTC

i steal all my memes

2020-02-18 20:33:10 UTC

I forgot what those two were but I have heard of them before

2020-02-18 20:33:14 UTC

Isnt survivor bias like

2020-02-18 20:33:45 UTC

There may have been others before us but died out or we may be the the first

2020-02-18 20:34:09 UTC

Or that, there is a stage of extinction

2020-02-18 20:34:14 UTC

@Mobcontroll That’s my point tbh

2020-02-18 20:34:19 UTC

But we may have passed that

2020-02-18 20:34:32 UTC

It’s impossible that just a random explosion created the universe with that fine detail

2020-02-18 20:34:49 UTC

It had to have been *primed*, in a manner of speaking

2020-02-18 20:34:51 UTC

That is why I beleive in the big crunch

2020-02-18 20:35:04 UTC

Another universe collapsing on itself made this one

2020-02-18 20:35:13 UTC

*What*

2020-02-18 20:35:19 UTC

Yep.

2020-02-18 20:35:22 UTC

Its an alt theory.

2020-02-18 20:35:25 UTC

How does that make any sense

2020-02-18 20:35:27 UTC

i heard the evidence for that is lacking

2020-02-18 20:35:34 UTC

entropy is a thing

2020-02-18 20:35:40 UTC

I'll explain it realy quick.

2020-02-18 20:35:42 UTC

heat death of the universe

2020-02-18 20:35:49 UTC

To the point we're not going to find Ayy lmaos without FTL

2020-02-18 20:35:51 UTC

Besides doesn’t that crossover with some wack multiversal theory

2020-02-18 20:35:55 UTC

No

2020-02-18 20:36:02 UTC

Because there will only be one.

2020-02-18 20:36:07 UTC

It will just be recreating itself

2020-02-18 20:36:10 UTC

Over and over again

2020-02-18 20:36:10 UTC

what even is the evidence for there being multiple universes

2020-02-18 20:36:16 UTC

*What*

2020-02-18 20:36:23 UTC

but entropy bro

2020-02-18 20:37:09 UTC

If our universe could spontaneously come from nothing then by the same mechanism virtually any universe could

2020-02-18 20:37:27 UTC

Really the big assumption is that something can come from nothing

2020-02-18 20:37:39 UTC

Not the nothing you can observe

2020-02-18 20:37:39 UTC

@Mr. Nessel Apparently a lot of atheists accept multiverse theory, so, yeah

2020-02-18 20:37:56 UTC

Multiverse theory seems cool imo

2020-02-18 20:38:07 UTC

Idk if it would ever exist

2020-02-18 20:38:09 UTC

It’s cool to think about but I don’t think it’s provable

2020-02-18 20:38:19 UTC

But it seems cool

2020-02-18 20:38:20 UTC

I actually buy into creatio ex nihilo but I'm not an atheists

2020-02-18 20:40:21 UTC

Basically my view of it is creatio ex nihilo. It is unordered, therefore a state of chaos (imagine an infinite space withotu rules like the laws of physics and thing randomly coming in and out of existence). Some things emerge out of chaos which then impose order on part of chaos
