@everyone http://boards.4chan.org/pol/thread/243278758/happening-former-confederate-states-form-2a

2020-02-20 16:59:00 UTC

It has some support but idk

2020-02-20 16:59:54 UTC

It pledges to expel agency offices who enforce gun laws

2020-02-20 17:00:05 UTC

Read the terms

2020-02-20 17:00:20 UTC

What happens when, for example, a Dem gets into office and wants to take them anyway

2020-02-20 17:00:28 UTC

The "2A Interstate Compact" would accomplish the following:

- Authorize all respective members to form an interstate commission to work in cooperation with all other members. This commission would utilize the combined resources of all member States to work toward the aim of accomplishing and maintaining "Second Amendment State Sanctuaries".

- Nullifying any and all federal laws and regulations that provide restrictions or outright banning of ownership for all firearms and ammunition types that do or may contribute to the security of the respective States. This applies to all individuals not restricted from ownership(felons), agencies, State militaries, and militias both State sanctioned and unofficial. This includes but is not limited to "weapons of war" and their respective ammunitions.

- Banning any form of registration for firearms and ammunition.

- Banning any operation of Federal agencies within the respective Compact States borders who engage in operations to confiscate or enforce Federal laws or regulations on guns and ammunition.

- Require that all State Attorney Generals under the compact defend any individual, group, organization, or agency brought under Federal charges for violation of the above-mentioned Federal regulations and laws as it relates to firearms and ammunition.

- Explicitly ban all State, county, city, or other municipal employees from implementing or attempting to aid in implementing enforcement of the above-mentioned Federal regulations and laws on guns or ammunition. This ban is also expanded to and explicitly applies to any enforcement of orders from the President, Federal Executive branch, or legislation from Congress that violate the 2nd Amendment.

- Empowers the Compact States to immediately nullify(via State Courts) and further combat any and all standing Federal Judicial orders or rulings that restrict the 2nd Amendment rights of citizens.

Could a Civil War break out between this new interstate and the rest of the US?

2020-02-20 17:01:09 UTC

Yes

2020-02-20 17:01:22 UTC

Read the 4th term

2020-02-20 17:01:25 UTC
2020-02-20 17:01:41 UTC

Dang

2020-02-20 17:01:45 UTC

It really might happen then

2020-02-20 17:02:09 UTC

I mean isn’t this just sanctuary states for guns?

2020-02-20 17:02:09 UTC

RIP gun rights

2020-02-20 17:02:23 UTC

@TuuSAmo Its an interstate compact

2020-02-20 17:02:34 UTC

Essentially a secessionist movement

2020-02-20 17:02:53 UTC

I mean it seems impossible to enforce

2020-02-20 17:02:57 UTC

It will expel federal agencies that enforce gun laws

2020-02-20 17:03:07 UTC

Using likely the national guard

2020-02-20 17:03:16 UTC

As the governors will lead it in a council

2020-02-20 17:03:18 UTC

Unless they get a patron in the form of China & others, no secessionist movement will succeed in the US

2020-02-20 17:04:04 UTC

They will get H-LvM'd

2020-02-20 17:05:34 UTC
2020-02-20 17:05:39 UTC

If enough states join it

2020-02-20 17:05:47 UTC

The National Guard will help

2020-02-20 17:05:53 UTC

Enough states joined the Confederacy 🤷‍♂️

2020-02-20 17:05:56 UTC

As will every police departments

2020-02-20 17:06:17 UTC

And if the boogaloo of this scale kicked off, likely you too

2020-02-20 17:06:29 UTC

Assuming you live in a red area

2020-02-20 17:07:02 UTC

Unless this movement gets funding, it's "army" will go no where. Armies march on their stomach. Who's going to give them funding?

2020-02-20 17:08:55 UTC

The Confederacy at least had State Armies and militia. This is a bunch of ragtag groups, and more importantly, ragtag groups without support from the CIA and/or FBI like in the Middle East.

2020-02-20 17:09:25 UTC

This will be used as a justification to inhibit gun rights, mark my words.

2020-02-20 17:11:51 UTC

@A B S O L U T I S T You do realize that the National Guard is commanded by the Governors

2020-02-20 17:12:05 UTC

And these states have 100,000 armed troops under their command

2020-02-20 17:12:13 UTC

And F-16s

2020-02-20 17:12:19 UTC

MQ Reaper Bombers

2020-02-20 17:12:34 UTC

And the US Army has all of that, plus funding

2020-02-20 17:13:02 UTC

@A B S O L U T I S T You don’t think that these states cannot levy taxes
