Ringed City killed my desire to play more

I gave up on it

My main was on NG+

They seem kind of too easy

and I didn't feel like going back and redoing the whole game

Basically an infinite plane stretching in each direction, infinite depth etc. and the use of portals
Which has many implications like empires etc. functionally being FTL but without spaceships and whatnot, having huge dedicated hive cities just for administration etc.

The ending was underwhelming I'll give you that but Gael is a great boss.

The cool thing about a concept like that is that you can do that pulp style serial where you just go on one-shot adventures to all kinds of places and it just fleshes itself out over time

If you are having trouble with the difficulty level, there is a soft difficulty setting in that you can farm souls pretty quickly and just level up

The game is really as hard as you want it to be
