Kinda boomer but fair point
Coomberg for president
@21ooAB just remember to diversify your stock. If you end up with tons of rice and nothing else you will not feel well and lack of nutrients will lower your immune system.
And remember to get toilet paper and cleaning products. People tend to overlook it.
having meat is more important than cerals tho
smoked meat has longer shelf life
knowing how to make bread instead of relying on bakery would be usefull too
Yeah but problem with meat is that it can spoil quite easily. Canned meat or fish I think is better (though not healthier).
It's also easier to store it.
TBH all shit that is canned tastes awfull and is bad for your health
at least in eastern europe
the only thing positive you could say about it is that it lasts long
I can agree with that. Luckily there are healthier options here. The problem is price and availability.
you are better off stocking up on pasta, salt, oil, dough, biscuits, chocolate
I get a little bit of everything. From veggies to meats. I have 3kg of rice already. I haven't thought about getting chocolate.
luckily there is a forest near my town where we can go and pick wild fruit
such as Pomegranate. some of my neighbours also grow oranges and apples and grapes
they should be bloom in coming spring
That's pretty good. My family has a cherry tree and a lot of kompot stored. But I bought some canned fruits, just in case.
I could move to my grandpa in rural hungary
Why are you guys making this so difficult people are all around just eat people
It's balance between calories in and calories out.
But
It keeps you active
You become a better hunter
If we get the Wuhan like situation there will be plenty food laying on the streets. The only question is how long to cook it to get rid of the virus.
Hunt
Feed
Hunt
Feed
Freudian slip
Stocked up on a variety of stuff
Easiest thing you can bake
Is human flesh
That works as well
@Korin Dickman I have $75. Give me a proportion list so I can prep
