Discussions with leftists is kinda pointless, because political views are often so deeply rooted in a person that they aren’t going to necessarily be open to changing, no matter how good your facts/logic are. It’s really just a waste of energy at this point, we should focus more on embracing winning strategies for our worldview.

Another thing is, after certain age people are set in their age. They MIGHT change their views about certain things but usually doesn't. It's simply how it is. As you get older your brain is less and less "flexible".
