because the british empire used it to make soldiers
Because the teacher had little to no idea on bloody current situations.
which is why it minimizes (or often doesn't even mention) its colonial competitors
Or countries tbh.
Spain, France, or even Persia
German education system is very fragmented. It varies a lot in quality
Schleswig Holstein is far from best though
Hm, Let me guess Bavaria is quite good?.
Yeah
Knew it.
But no honestly i had to research in my free time about Geography.
Teacher's will not go indepth on a bloody country or a contienet.
And we spent to much time on Africa.
🤔
The main part about geography we did was look at models or competing models, sum them up and whatnot, critically analyse them
Yeah we covered Africa a lot too
But we pretty much covered every continent
Heavy emphasis on development models
Honestly after that unit i knew to much about moutains and Soil quality in Africa.
Same
Mostly what my teacher stated was *Muh Western Provenice best for farming*....................
@Mr. Nessel Also in Geography did you get the talk, About the developing nations?.
the best part about our soil quality is that we dont have any 😂
I wasn't as interested in politics back then but yeah I did participate a lot in discussions and whatnot
Geography class also gave me a sort of chauvinist outlook
Nesselblat more like Nestle blyat
And I formed my views on trade because of it
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_geese_paradigm stuff like this was highly interesting
Honestly, We to covered all of the contienets. But from my perspective we put to much emphase on Africa.
i wonder why
🤔 Makes me thonk.
Honestly my class was a mixture of Northern Kids who were Neocons and the Southern kids who were shit libs.
lmao
Both were irratating to listen to.
That's Canada for you.
moldbug should be tought in schools
North *We hate the south there not real men*, South *VAPE VAPE SEX DRUG SEX DRUGS* etc.
most schools literally don't even teach Plato or Aristotle anymore
@Norik Well Canadian Philosphy classes touch more on Aristotle.
But very little is touched on himself.
