I was reading a book and they claimed that the hammer was the symbol of Thor and not WOTAN and that WOTAN was associated with a spear. I think the next chapter said that WOTAN was not actually the god of lightning but I stopped reading as I didn't want my brain polluted by more Abrahamic lies.
