I mean I guess nazis and commies were both socialists but to say that they are the same because of it is dumb they are far from the same

2020-04-18 20:02:01 UTC

Which got purged by Hitler @Galahad

2020-04-18 20:02:02 UTC

@Galahad remind me what happened to those guys?

2020-04-18 20:02:06 UTC

2020-04-18 20:02:15 UTC

im not exactly agreeing with the lolbert

2020-04-18 20:02:40 UTC

Socialism in one country, imagine if they had a word for that....

2020-04-18 20:02:49 UTC

> I mean I guess nazis and commies were both socialists but to say that they are the same because of it is dumb they are far from the same
@EYEFORKNOWLEDGE156
They are economically socialist yes, I never said they are the same, that's just what people don't get

2020-04-18 20:03:03 UTC

"if you violate peoples property rights there will be a rebellion and that regime will be overthrown"

Look at the conditions the American revolution took place under and compare it to today. People are pacified

2020-04-18 20:03:25 UTC

The nazis had a mixed economy which is totally different to how the Soviets ran theirs

2020-04-18 20:03:35 UTC

advanced technology makes counter-insurgency very potent

2020-04-18 20:03:37 UTC

If you call both socialist the term loses any value

2020-04-18 20:04:00 UTC

socialist is anyone not libertarian.

2020-04-18 20:04:09 UTC

Literally his view

2020-04-18 20:04:13 UTC

The nazi failure of collectivozing too slow, is your argument they weren't socialists?

2020-04-18 20:04:29 UTC

That's called government failure

2020-04-18 20:04:37 UTC

They weren't planning on collectivizing the whole economy

2020-04-18 20:04:43 UTC

They were

2020-04-18 20:04:46 UTC

dude

2020-04-18 20:04:48 UTC

Read Mein Kampf

2020-04-18 20:04:50 UTC

Hitler purged the Strasserites

2020-04-18 20:05:05 UTC

They were not planning to go for a genuine socialist state

2020-04-18 20:05:12 UTC

They were

2020-04-18 20:05:18 UTC

For racial aryans only

2020-04-18 20:05:20 UTC

Collectivization was a red thing not a natsoc thing

2020-04-18 20:05:23 UTC

It always was and was goign to be a corporatist state

2020-04-18 20:05:24 UTC

the deepest level of analysis that is allowed in popular discourse is "nazis = socialists = collectivists --> all collectivism bad and we love freedom"

literal jordan peterson tier

2020-04-18 20:05:31 UTC

It was also a natsoc thing

2020-04-18 20:05:54 UTC

No it wasn’t lol

2020-04-18 20:05:59 UTC

It was

2020-04-18 20:06:04 UTC

Watch the Tik vid

2020-04-18 20:06:24 UTC

So you're just going to assert they were going to collectivize I.G Farben and all these other industrial concerns which were already collaborating with the government

2020-04-18 20:06:32 UTC

Because you need evidence for that

2020-04-18 20:06:46 UTC

liberal dream is for people to have virtually no overarching goverment that unifies people
and for people to be atomised within their own heavily guarded property
too bad this already happened
the american indians had their tribal fiefdoms
heavily armed
free
not bothered by a bigger state
when they tried to unify they failed spectacularly
The state is much more efficient at developing technology, building armies, infrastructure, spreading its religion. etc
what wil inevtiably happen is that states with smaller goverments will be crushed by bigger states because they wont give a shit about your petty liberties. I still find it funny that after each world war the US goverment grew.not decreased. Its out of necessety.you cant win against enemy big states by decreasing the power of your own state.

2020-04-18 20:07:10 UTC

its almost like natsoc germany was closer to the fascist model of politieconomy than to muh commies

2020-04-18 20:08:11 UTC

> So you're just going to assert they were going to collectivize I.G Farben and all these other industrial concerns which were already collaborating with the government
@Mr. Nessel

Because you don't understand the difference of private and collective ownership of the means of producion

2020-04-18 20:08:26 UTC

I do, you don't

2020-04-18 20:08:29 UTC

too bad NATSOC germany had Jingoism as their only foreign policy
you cant win by being at constant war with the world

2020-04-18 20:08:43 UTC

Regulating a buisness isn't the same as nationalizing it

2020-04-18 20:08:47 UTC

best irony is the commies end up becoming the fascists due to necessity

2020-04-18 20:09:06 UTC

natsoc germany went into war socialism pretty early because they had plans to expand massively

2020-04-18 20:09:07 UTC

it was war after all
