For the new umbrella distribution entity Adult Time, Bree Mills expands on her successful "Pure Taboo" format to add violent horror content in the anthology series "Under the Bed".
This first DVD pairing of a couple of episodes is quite disappointing. There's gore, violence and special effects, but the overall result is perfunctory sex content.
"Within" stars Emma Hix (brunette rather than blonde here) and Emily WIllis as similar looking young women who go on vacation to Hix's remote cabin. Michael Vegas is a sinister stalker, and there's plenty of dread and horror en route to a trick ending. Fred August gets credit for directing and does an unimpressive job.
Joanna Angel is responsible for the companion piece titled "The Night They Came for Lacy". It's a sloppy, half-baked entry in the Undead genre, with Lacy Lennon feeling guilty for being behind the wheel in a car accident that kills her friends Small Hands, Katrina Jade and Angel herself.
They rise (literally) from the grave to sexually assault Lacy in a graveyard foursome, notable only for Joanna's insistence on all three ghouls covered head to toe with tattoos. If only there were some point to this.
