on the other hand, social welfare is heavy on tax and is pretty much the same as capitalism and free market, but comes with a built in monopoly backed by law

thats an application problem rather than a ideological problem. technicly the meme has "wait times" as the last panal, its just that no one pretends its even posible and youll be waiting for eternity. waiting forever for something that doesent exist has the same result as waiting to long for something that doesent reach you in time.
social welfare is heavy on tax but it is nessicary for a decent society that does not simply have contempt for the misfortunate. social wellfair can be taken advantage of and the attempt to take advantage of it will always be attempted yet its nonexistence ensures people will simply have random chance or even not so random chance occur to them which brings them down to a point that the difficulty for them to bring themselves back from is to great for them to actually succeed in.
there is a myth that removing welfare from society with sever cultural decadence and lack of personal responcibility will simply cause those people to grow up, this is actually bias from the perspective of people who personally can see themselves doing that if such a thing occured to them but not from the perspective of people who mature to adults within privilage. not that people like this shouldent be removed from the system but what you do when you go from a society of high social welfare to low social welfare (and ironicly still almost no social welfare for the lowest in society) you simply pull the rug out from under children who dispite being adults are actually still children and are ironicly less capible of learning to live better than even children would be

@Arch-Fiend the problem with social nets is not the stealing of wealth in order to fund it. It is in the difficulty of creating a system capable of providing for those who need it while incentivising those who are capable of getting off of it to get off of it. I do not think such a system can be created without leaches or hurting those who legitimately rely on it.
The only solution I see has nothing to do with government regulations and everything to do with culture.
i dont actually think the issue of social welfare leading to dependency is actually due to the existance of social welfare, simply, one assumes that if you can have a minimum standard of living then when your in that position what incentivizes you to do anything more? now unfortuantely many social welfare systems are worse than that and actually deincentivizes getting off of them with a mediocre handling for transitioning off of welfair often disadvantaging people who cant 1:1 replace their welfare with wages.
but, let me ask you something, think about your life, your desires and your dreams, infact simply think about the lifestyle you would prefer to have and tell me, would you be satisfied or even content living on welfare, and let me ask why if you would be?
