One thing I would disagree with Tim on in his interview with Joe. He said "It's not a conspiracy, it's just like-minded people who are only ever around eachother, sharing the same things among eachother, believing all the same things, and so you'll notice certain words emerge among specific groups."

That's a distinction without a difference, no?

TYT's comment sections are an anti trump hive mind

2019-02-09 05:04:26 UTC

While say Tim's is pro trump

2019-02-09 05:04:27 UTC

>the kurds are our greatest allies

2019-02-09 05:04:49 UTC

Sure they helped against ISIS

2019-02-09 05:04:55 UTC

But greatest? Wut

2019-02-09 05:04:59 UTC

anyone who says that probably doesnt know much about the syrian conflict

2019-02-09 05:05:11 UTC

to say nothing of the middle east as a whole or their conflict with turkey

2019-02-09 05:05:19 UTC

I think he was being sarcastic though

2019-02-09 05:06:03 UTC

Perhaps

2019-02-09 05:06:23 UTC

the kurds are the only horse without a backer, thats why were on their side

2019-02-09 05:06:45 UTC

There were also on the front lines against ISIS

2019-02-09 05:06:59 UTC

so was assad and the FSA

2019-02-09 05:07:15 UTC

The CIA supported the fsa

2019-02-09 05:07:25 UTC

There is no way Obama would have supported assad

2019-02-09 05:07:27 UTC

Before they became isis yes

2019-02-09 05:07:46 UTC

The CIA supported fsa till trump stopped it in 2017

2019-02-09 05:08:18 UTC

They did airstrike the Al Qaeda parts of the fsa before 2017

2019-02-09 05:09:12 UTC

Good thing they got rid of AQ, a massive islamist anti US force in syria wouldve sucked

2019-02-09 05:09:46 UTC

They still do it now

2019-02-09 05:09:54 UTC

Most of the rebels are still jihadists

2019-02-09 05:10:09 UTC

And they are all holed up in idlib

2019-02-09 05:10:22 UTC

Maybe in the Turkish conquered areas too

2019-02-09 05:10:32 UTC

There are no "moderate" rebels in syria there are just anti american islamists and anti assad islamists

2019-02-09 05:10:51 UTC

There used to be moderate rebels

2019-02-09 05:11:21 UTC

Turkey is likely propping up the FSA with material

2019-02-09 05:11:22 UTC

Apparently I heard that assad released lots of jihadists in 2011-2012 to discredit the opposition

2019-02-09 05:12:55 UTC

Could be false or true, truth in war is muddled

2019-02-09 05:14:09 UTC

Those claims were made by a lawyer who was imprisoned by assad's government

2019-02-09 05:15:14 UTC

There is additional information from unnamed sources but it is conflicting on the dates and times

2019-02-09 05:15:42 UTC

The main question is why would assad strengthen the power of his opponents prior to the start of a civil war?

2019-02-09 05:16:09 UTC

Yea

2019-02-09 05:17:11 UTC

They furthermore claim that Assad's government directly armed these extremists

2019-02-09 05:17:21 UTC

Dont trust this 100% but I guess it's a good read

2019-02-09 05:18:01 UTC

TLDR the claims cant be independently verified

2019-02-09 05:18:49 UTC

Holy hell that article is long
