it should depend on the severity of the crime
yes for victimless crimes too i think
nonetheless you still commited a crime
and being in jail isn't enough of a deterrence?
its more punitive i would think
like its more of a punitive measure
i mean is it really meant to be a deterrence
most people dont vote anyway
most people dont vont because they think their votes wont change anything
yes
what about mass incarceration though
im for rehabilitation and punishment for victimless crimes
i think the us is missing some of the rehabilitation part
but for crimes with victims
skip rehab
dont give them chances
honestly give them the capital punishment
if im correct most of the incarcerated people are black
they dont deserve to be on earth
so what
yea
so what
that means the justice system is the problem
i mean what does that change
no it doesnt
it means black people commit more crime on average
yes it does, for the crimes of the same severity black people get more time spent in prison than white people
i see that as a problem but thats just a part of it
and guess why black people commit more crimes Specifically in america
i mean it doesnt really matter
ofc it needs to be improved
i see the injustice there
but i dont see the justice system itself as a problem
Iām still not a admin
š
bc theyre usually economically unstable
single mother households
and in violent cities
but theyre still commiting crimes
yes economically unstable, because of the right wing policies
