i've even test fired a 3D pritned lower receiver on an ar15

(albeit I didn't do it safely and the entire time I pulled the trigger I was cringing)

but the issue of a 3d printed gun not being safe is relatively easy to solve by reinforcing with metal inserts where needed

the parts kit he bought was an hungarian amd-64

but he made the lower receiver out of abs plastic that'd been reinforced with metal in weak points

well then

doing such with an ar15 is also much easier

as on an ar15 the receiver is not a pressure barring part

doesn't take a genius to just get a gun if guns are banned as shown

all it takes is a 300$ 3d prniter

or if you're ever more old fashioned

you can easily make a sten gun without a trigger
