and here's a list of 305 cases with dates and article links

and video links

I wonder if there is a similar rap sheet going the other way. (curiosity) Guess I will duck-duck-go it.

2018-07-11 02:45:46 UTC

interesting.. assange?

https://twitter.com/i/moments/1016757199425736704 People really trying to find out the ladys political affiliation...

2018-07-11 06:04:06 UTC

Most of the cases that get a lot of media attention of hate crimes by the left seem to turn out to be hoaxes

2018-07-11 06:04:21 UTC

Definitely not all, but it seems all the ones that get widespread coverage

2018-07-11 06:05:26 UTC

i imagine it's partially because outrageous stories are much more likely to get blown up, while also being less likely to be true

2018-07-11 06:05:32 UTC

yeah

2018-07-11 06:06:07 UTC

Because when you're making one up you can craft it to perfectly fit people's expectations. And those expectations are often set by the media, so it's a self feeding cycle

2018-07-11 06:06:52 UTC

but hey, they're starting a conversation, right?

2018-07-11 06:08:09 UTC

i'd prefer if conversations were based on truths lol

2018-07-11 06:09:40 UTC

Seriously. How can they not realize that they're absolutely destroying their credibility and hurting their cause?

2018-07-11 06:10:30 UTC

Funny about the article I read, they didn't add the peoples race (only do it when its a for sure trump supporter), and when you find out who it is, its confusing and people still believe its a trump supporter. #TheTRUMPERA brutal, but not getting as much coverage as the crazy pool enforcing guy

2018-07-11 06:10:31 UTC

I really hope we can get a less stupid left wing presence soon.

2018-07-11 06:10:55 UTC

well at least yet

2018-07-11 06:12:09 UTC

sorry went on a tangent its fairly new, but sad

2018-07-11 06:13:15 UTC

i'd give my left nut for a 4-party system consisting of 1 moderate left moderate libertarian party, 1 moderate right moderate libertarian party, 1 moderate left moderate authoritarian party, and 1 moderate right moderate authoritarian party

2018-07-11 06:13:51 UTC

The spoiler effect makes that pretty much impossible thanks to the game theory that arises from first past the post voting

2018-07-11 06:14:07 UTC

But that's just a theory.

2018-07-11 06:14:28 UTC

yeah i think i'd like that other voting system

2018-07-11 06:14:31 UTC

i forget what it's called

2018-07-11 06:14:41 UTC

but the one where you list your top 5 instead of having 1 vote

2018-07-11 06:14:53 UTC

I think that's alternative vote

2018-07-11 06:15:46 UTC

Where they tally up all the votes based on people's number 1 and then whichever number 1 has the least votes is removed, and whoever voted for him has their 2nd choice added to the count instead

2018-07-11 06:16:08 UTC

yea that one. that one sounds really nice

2018-07-11 06:16:46 UTC

But of course with FPTP voting two parties end up with a ton of power. And who is it that we would depend on to change that system?

2018-07-11 06:16:58 UTC

yeah....

2018-07-11 06:17:17 UTC

at this point we'd have to go back in time and pitch the idea to the founding fathers

2018-07-11 06:17:26 UTC

Seems like it'd be REALLY hard to reform without some sort of revolution, and really I don't think that's a good option

2018-07-11 06:18:03 UTC

maybe the current shakeup of the political climate will weaken the parties and give us an opening

2018-07-11 06:19:01 UTC

if a party is collapsing a new party could force their way in using that as their platform

2018-07-11 06:19:23 UTC

and it looks like a party collapse is pretty likely

2018-07-11 06:20:18 UTC

Yeah, but then it'd very likely just be a case of 'the king is dead, long live the king'

2018-07-11 06:20:47 UTC

But it could make things better for quite some time

2018-07-11 06:22:04 UTC

yeah i definitely wouldn't trust it if voting reform was like 4th on their list

2018-07-11 06:22:22 UTC

because politicians get away with totally ignoring stuff they said they'd do all the time

2018-07-11 06:23:12 UTC

unless they emphasize it as their big thing, at which point they either deliver or they lose their entire voterbase
