According to DE wiki it is right extremist, according to EN wiki it is ultra conservative, and Danish wiki label it as a libertarian/conservative newspaper. My german is not optimal. But for me it comes across as a normal newspaper, I would consider centre right.

and while his positions are considered somewhat right wing in germany (as usually is with critics towards illegal immigration) he does not come across as far right or extremist or anything like that...

imho he really does come across like kind of apolitical, as he should as journalist
