How can something that you have to work for (or against) be a privilege? 🤔
Also, thanks for posting that while Im in the middle of my diet. 1 and 1/2 weeks to go
cuz some people dont have to work for it
Pissing off feminists is my new primary motivation to not be fat.
This, "thin" privilege is a privilege of everyone. Nobody is born fat (some babies are but as they grow the go back to normal). So it's their own fault for being fat
At best you can blame their parents if they let their kids eat anything and become fat in the early teens
i mean u can have a thyroid disorder
I do and not fat
hyper or hypo?
hypo
My white cells attack my own thyroid 😦
FeelsBad
:/
yeah its hyper that is more associated with weight gain
well not gain but more just being fat
What pisses me off most is that the "body positivity" movement was originally about trying to raise the self-esteem of disfigured or physically disabled people. But then feminists stole the term and made it about fat women.
lol u can be vegetarian and theres only so much your body will lose
hyperthyroidism typically is weight loss iirc
ohhh kk i have it backwards
75 mg every day brah
XD yeah im talkin about before you get medication to treat it too
I'm waiting for my T4 results, my doctor is fairly sure I have hypothyroidism
low energy, hair loss, takes forever for me to lose weight
I started my treatment at 15 years of age, now 26. I was never even close to fat. In fact I was a skinny kid/early teens. I did practice sports and had a normal diet. A pizza here, a mc donalds there just not everyday
I hope you do get that confirmed because then you can start treatment for your symptoms and you'll recover before you know it.
yeah I'd really like that
that said, I'm still losing weight lol, it's just very slow
How old are you, if you don't mind me asking
25
It started out of nowhere? Or you just never checked before
never checked
Yeah, the earlier the better
noticed it in my early 20s
Hopefully everything will be fine
Since you didn't treat in your teens you could have been taller than you are as well
thyroid does everything in your body. sucks when you have problems 😦
yeah my drummer realised he had it a few months ago
luckily hes like 19
That happened to me. Bones fused at 14 due to a course of steroids I had to go on for inflammatory bowel disease. I'm 180cm though so happy enough at where I got to.
