Genuine question to flat earthers I don't mean for this to come out as trolling.

In 1903, the Wright brothers invented the first succesful airplane. Today it takes roughly 7 hours to fly from Paris to New York. My point is in the future. No matter what way you want to look at it. Going to space will be easier. Not necessarily interstellar travel. I'm just saying being to go into orbit, at a height which you would be able to look at the Earth for yourself, will become possible. A point will come where all it will take for private companies to take people into space on a tourist trip is money.

My question is why would every single government on this planet decide to make up this huge lie knowing that in the future we would be able to see the "truth" for ourselves.

Let's say every single space agency and government on this planet is lying. The day the people find out. It would completely jeopardize the whatever trust anyone had in any government, chaos would follow EVERYWHERE , we're talking every single government on this planet being completely distrusted by its citizens. Why would the entire planet lie with such a high risk of all hell breaking looose. What's the end game for all these countries. It makes no sense.
