Got a question for all the flat earthers :
How do you deal with the fact that eclipse ground tracks are predicted by the spherical earth, gravity, and heliocentric setup?
ya they are
wanna see the source code that does it?
saros doesn't predict ground track at all
@Citizen Z ya but if your code was accurate i'd find that interesting
but you dont' have that
i have a physics model that uses gravity and spherical earth that predicts the ground track
do you have that
lets see the eclipse ground track prediction using your flat earth
and local sun
and local moon
solar eclipse of course, since i said ground track
hmmm dunno
just like we don't know what the electroweak force IS
ok cool where did this info come from
the saros cycle?
or something else
wait i thougth you guys said west to east was impossible, for the 2017 eclipse
now west to east is normal?
which one is normal
ok well here's how they're ACTUALLY predicted:
nothing to do with patterns, or saros cycle
saros cycle is the pattern that emerges due to the mechanics of the solar system
"nuh uh" doesn't do much
ya that's the model, it works
where is your model that works
@Citizen Z no you're wrong
why do you think that
you can see teh source code that uses this method yourself
sorry man dunno how you got there
explain please
because nasa doesn't use the saros cycle they use this ephemeris
really?
can you show me where
whos source code
red herring
who's source code did you refer to
@Citizen Z so you have made a claim that is baseless
wanna see me support my claim?
The solar eclipse predictions were made using the VSOP87/ELP2000-82 solar and lunar ephemerides.
Suck it
