Hi all... can I request prayers here for my cousin? He's in the hospital - kidneys failed... been in a medically induced coma then pulled out but still sedated... news this morning is that doctors don't think he will make it through today. He's in his 30s... been in a rehab program.

Oh, I've been praying, a lot of my extended family is praying, and multiple churches are praying. I am praying that this is a turning point in his life.

hey all... update on cousin I asked for prayer for yesterday - this from my cousin, 2.5 hrs ago: From the last I've heard, he's had a heart attack and the machines are the only reason he's still alive. The doctors said we will know more by Friday to see if any of his numbers have gone up, but there's only about a 10% chance

Standing right next to me is Joshua. Great guy. Gut wrenching story of his life. Born again but assailed by the enemy through injuries sustained during his military service and subsequent drug addiction challenges. Boy, can I relate.
Today, he is fighting for his very life. On life support with a 10% chance of survival. Please pray for not only his life on earth (He's already made the decision for his eternal destiny), but also for those whose life he has touched. His parents have asked for privacy at the bedside. It's a bittersweet time. Comfort lies within the knowledge of his destination.

Very recent update - he is now septic, still on life support... could die today or sometime in the next week

Prayers for uncle... Just took him to hospital... He suspects gallbladder.

Prayers for me please... Still dealing with a lot of pain since auto accident in early April. Have neck injection scheduled for June 29th, low back injection sometime in July. I am very nervous about needles as I get vertigo/light headed whenever I get an injection done while sitting upright. Also having a lot of panic attacks lately.

I drive Lyft for income, problem is I was in an accident in April and was (and am) forced to drive a rental now. Rental costs me $250/wk.

I am still in a lot of pain four and a half months later

I can't drive the hours I used to because of the pain

I have hired an attorney, and they have been helping with my rent and expenses.

I got my third loan just two weeks ago.

But now I am here with my cell phone bill due and no money to pay it

One of my aunts chewed me out one time for asking for rent expenses on go fund me so I have not tried again

The issue is... If the cell phone is shut off I can't drive

And my aunt and uncle I live with (not the same aunt) both chewed me out for not driving tonight (with major back pain)

I like my Metro phone.

My aunt and uncle threatened me and my boyfriend tonight if I don't drive

They do not understand what I am going through.

I am already under a ton of stress then they just added a mountain more.

Hi everyone... Prayers needed. Had my 3rd epidural steroid injectoon yesterday (2nd in low back, will have 2nd in neck in 4 weeks) and dealing with really bad side effects. I had issues with the anesthesia because the bag didn't drain much and my arm hurt. Was still quite awake during the procedure. A really bad migraine during the day and really bad insomnia afterwards. I only slept 3 hrs last night.

Prayers for me tonight... Giving my testimony tonight for the first time in a large group setting.

Hi everyone... I am stressed out tonight. I need cash to be able to get gas for my car... Been in a rental car for 11 months now, on the Lyft rental program. Still dealing with medical issues so it limits my ability to drive a lot of hours. In addition, I have a minimum trip requirement that must be met every week, and the first $250 I make is locked up for rental payment. I have been running negative every week for the past four weeks. I have already done 11/20 required trips this week, still have until 5am Pacific to finish, but gas tank is very low. Many weeks this past year I have either been negative or just barely positive. I can't afford my rent right now, and most days I am lucky to get more than one meal. I have had to rely on friends and family so much more than I wanted. But the situation is this right now... Unless I get some more gas money so I can drive tonight, I lose my car. If I lose the car, I have no transportation, and all of my jobs are now lost as I have no way to get to them and they rely on my having a car (tutor + census bureau later this month).

I know I have lost weight through all this... Don't know how much because I had to drop the gym membership I had.

I now have enough for half a tank of gas... Do I go out without having my tank full? Is this a trust exercise?

I hate being this stressed out.

I normally am out overnights on Sunday nights... Until 5am Monday morning. Can put on 300 miles easily in that time.

I just don't want to run out with a passenger in the car, you know?

Especially if they are paying for the ride.

I am just so frustrated.

Not really as a rental. Only about 20% of my riders tip.

But I can't get out of the rental until the attorneys submit for payment.

I am still dealing with attorneys from the accident in April of last year. But they are not submitting because medical is still ongoing.

Just wanted to share a praise report about my night driving... Started out with $25 to put into a very low tank... This is California... $25 doesn't go far. Didn't fill the tank. Gave me about 300 miles leeway until I had to go offline. About midnight, I picked up a rider who wanted me to wait 10 mins so she could pick up some clothes and I would take her back to where I picked her up. I said no problem, it is pretty slow, but would like some compensation for time because our per minute rate while waiting is only like $0.12 per minute. They agreed to help me out. So I waited, she gave me $20 to wait 10 mins. Plus, later in the ride she gave me an additional $5 cash tip. This is in addition to another $3 cash tip earlier in the evening. This $28 went right back into my tank and nearly maxed the tank... Allowing me to be able to drive the rest of the night. I didn't make rental dollars again (5 weeks in a row negative), but got closer than last week, so that is a praise. But am getting very frustrated with negative weeks. Need to start actually earning money rather than constantly paying out just to keep transportation. Also did this while fighting migraines and back pain.
