So, does anyone in here have any knowledge about gas storage? I'm trying to prep for when communication goes down and I plan on heading to family in the mountains. It's about a 6 hour drive, I'll get most of the way there on a single tank (thank God for fuel efficient vehicle) but I want to be prepared for not being able to get gas when I'm ready to leave, or on the way there.
That was my first thought, but I wasn't sure about the sustainability of that.
I have friends and family up in the mountains of wyoming, I currently am in nebraska, luckily I was raised to know how to take care of myself for the most part, and all of my friends and family are hardworking, blue collar, hunting, fishing, we can live off the land, sort of people.
I just fear when communications go down, and troops start rolling in that not everyone will be on the same side no matter where we are. And I know I need to be with people who I trust.
Sadly I don't have a truck, it's a chevy HHR. So I don't think that will work for me, but that's definitely some good advice for those with trucks. ๐ Thank you

Step 3, get the vaccination. Become a sheeple.
I suppose that's a risk you're going to have to assume... ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ
