I can agree that there are too many people and global warming will be very disruptive and destructive for our current industrial society. If we would be hunter-gatherers or early farmers in the fertile crescent, the effects would be miniscule for the human species.

This is why the Autobahn was even a project. It was to connect all the smaller cities and villages into a giant, easily accessible network, so one could live well and connected without being in a megacity
